ABOUT ME

I am currently a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Politics and International Relations at the University of Edinburgh. I am also a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London, a member of the Centre for Business, Climate Change and Sustainability, University of Edinburgh Business School, and the Co-Academic Lead of Carrots & Sticks, a large-scale database and repository of Corporate Sustainability Policy.

I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from McGill University, Canada. Prior to coming to Edinburgh I worked in the Department of Political Economy at King's College London and, before that, in the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University (Netherlands).

 

My research focuses on (1) corporate sustainability policy, (2) corporate lobbying, and (3) natural language processing. My research has been published in numerous international journals, including Regulation & Governance, Journal of Public Policy, European Journal of Political Research, Review of International Political Economy, & Political Communication and book chapters.
